In November 2021, I was contacted by a health professional with a problem. After years of study to build his medical and business skills, his health tech business wasn’t achieving its full potential.

He had an excellent business model, fabulous service offering, and support from various medical specialists. But he just wasn’t getting the sign-ups to his subscription-based service he’d hoped for.

Persuasive copywriting boosts sales of a course for health professionals

The problem – lacklustre sales of online PD course

In 2022, a physiotherapist sought my help with copywriting for a sales page. He had invested enormous time and energy to gain expertise in shoulder pain treatment – and creating an online course to share that expertise with other health professionals.

The course was top notch. It had over 16 hours of professional development, approved for CPD points by several leading health professional bodies. He had distilled all the evidence for managing shoulder pain into a clear, digestible format. The training also included loads of video demonstrations of assessment and treatment techniques.

  • De-risk the purchase.

The result - supercharged sales and a course price rise


Within a couple of months of the new page going live, he was making enough extra sales to raise the course price by 15%. Although he hadn’t kept metrics, he was very happy with the results.
